Ad Targeting for Publishers by Crowd Science
Management Team
Crowd Science team is comprised of a team of experts from the research, technology, and advertising industries. This combined expertise allows Crowd Science to deliver a best-in-class ad targeting solution for our clients. They also play a mean game of darts.

Corey J. Leibow
President & CEO
Corey is a technology and e-commerce veteran who has held senior-level positions at leading-edge companies for more than 22 years. Most recently he was executive-in-residence at Plug and Play Tech Center, a high-tech incubator. Prior to Plug and Play, Leibow was president and CEO of Mercado Software, which he shaped into a leading e-commerce search and merchandising service, subsequently selling the company to Omniture in 2008. His earlier positions include executive vice president of worldwide sales and services at SEEC, Inc./Asera, chief operating officer of ClickSoftware, executive vice president of sales and professional services at Ajuba, and vice president of worldwide sales operations of Cadence Design Systems. Corey loves to golf, ski, hike and backpack. He also once shared a taxi with Geraldine Ferraro and Willie Mays. There is a buddy-comedy movie idea in there somewhere. Follow Corey on Twitter.

John Martin
Co-founder, Chief Crowd Scientist
John is a software architect out of comScore and Cisco. At comScore, John designed and built SiteRecruit, an enterprise recruitment product that started out as a simple enabling technology, allowing enterprise customers to intercept and recruit website visitors for in-house research, but soon grew to become a business driver in its own right, and now sits on some of the busiest websites on the Internet. John also recently got engaged and married in the same week. Without telling his coworkers. Who aren’t bitter at all, but he still better bring them back a slice of wedding cake… Just saying. John Wainwright
Co-founder, CTO
John has a long history of important work for some of Silicon Valley’s most distinguished companies. He was most recently co-founder and chief architect of Kontiki, a Granite Ventures, Benchmark and MK Capital-funded content delivery company that was acquired by Verisign in 2006. Before that he created MaxScript, a scripting language for Autodeskʼs modeling package, 3dsmax, which Autodesk eventually bought and integrated into the product. And before that, he was the chief architect of Kaleida Labs, an Apple/IBM joint venture formed around Objects In C, an object-oriented programming language system he had written and sold to Apple. John insists that there is nothing interesting to write about him here. He remains a man of mystery. Which, in a twist of irony, is actually pretty interesting. Follow JW on Twitter.

Matt Pasternak
SVP Business & Partnership Development
Matt brings his impressive track record of strategic business development, sales and marketing to Crowd Science. Most recently, Matt served as VP of Partnerships and Market Development at Healthination, overseeing all new partnership and revenue initiatives. Before that, he led the sales team to the fastest revenue growth in company history at Klipmart (acquired by Doubleclick), and was responsible for launching and building the profitable ad-effectivenss solution for InsightExpress. Matt has also honed his marketing and strategic development experience launching the Latin American businesses for Information Resources (IRI) and Internet Securities as well as on new ventures with IBM, RCA, Columbia Pictures and ABC Television. Matt is fluent in Spanish and we suspect that he’s using his foreign connections to acquire a beloved Cuban cigar every now and then. Follow Matt on Twitter.

Paul Neto
Co-founder, VP Research & Operations
Paul spent a number of years designing, supporting and consulting in the field of geographic information systems, including internet mapping technologies and international boundary delineation. After a short stint in market research, Paul led a technology and operations team at comScore and worked hand-in-hand with research and sales teams conducting various types of online research, including customer satisfaction and advertising effectiveness, on some of the company’s biggest accounts. Paul loves to order porkchops in restaurants to get a reaction from his vegetarian friends. If Paul ever does this to you, know that you can retaliate by wearing yellow; a color that scares him to his core. Follow Paul on Twitter.

Bill McHargue
VP Sales
Bill brings 16 years experience in sales and sales management for technology, publisher and ad industry companies. As VP of North America sales at the Rubicon Project, he was responsible for growing adoption, increasing revenue and acquisition of the company’s ad yield platform. Prior to the Rubicon Project, Bill held successive corporate sales and marketing leadership roles for StongMail Systems, winning many of the company's large brand-name accounts. Prior to this, Bill was National Sales Director for automotive publisher AutoWeb. Back in the hey-day, Bill was a film major in college and has already put his education and persuasive selling skills to good use getting the Crowd Science team to agree the movie Alien is arguably one of the best films ever.
